Preston Elementary demonstrates the Pillar of Caring with food drive
Preston Elementary School students in partnership with the Idlewild Ruritan Organization, recently held their annual Holiday Food Drive Event. Students donated 2,143 nonperishable food items to help local families during this holiday season. Members of the Ruritan, along with Santa, picked up the donated food items. The students wore red clothing to reflect the Characer Counts Pillars of Caring. Each child personally presented their items to the Ruritan members.
